Stranger Things

Updated: Jan 2

"I’m writing to let everyone know I have some cool work in Stranger Things

My niece, Lexi, works at a company in LA that makes credit sequences for TV shows and movies. This year, she had the pleasure of editing the end credits sequence for the series finale of Stranger Things on Netflix. If you don’t watch Stranger Things, it’s a really fun show about kids battling monsters and bad guys in the ’80s. This is its fifth and final season, but the first season premiered back in 2016, so this finale is a big deal!

The company hired me to lend my talents and draw some imagery for them. I was delighted.

How did it happen? My sister Kari told my brother John that I illustrated for Dragonlance manuals in the 80's. Lexi, John's daughter, overheard the conversation and thought it would be cool to add an original DnD artist to the group of illustrators working on the Stranger Things credit sequence at the very end of Season 5, Chapter 8.

They called, we Zoomed, and I was on. Wonderful people to work with.

BTW, none of the illustrators' art was AI created.
