I’m part of a ‘local’ (all within two hours of Marquette) art ‘critique’ group called PIA. Collaborating with each other is wonderfully valuable. Two of us had our websites evaluated/expounded upon last evening with each thought/insight/reflection beginning with a question. Conclusion reached for me to reach a next, focused step: I’ll meditate when transitioning from administrative duties to the drawing table. More visualizing before the pencil. It’s so easy to reach too soon for the pencil. Drawing for me is highly intimate with whatever nature, human or fanciful object I’m drawing. Very fulfilling. More fulfilling if go further with visualizing and free imagining first.
